She has written liner essays, recorded audio commentaries, and appeared in video supplements for Blu-ray releases from Criterion, Arrow Films, Powerhouse/Indicator, Kino Lorber, and Flicker Alley among others, and has recorded introductions and programmed series for the Criterion Channel. She has been blogging as Self-Styled Siren since 2005; that blog recently moved to Substack. Her novel, Missing Reels, was published in 2014.
